Lt. Col. Dan Rooney was 12 years-old when he knew what he wanted to be when he grew up ... an unlikely combination of a jet fighter pilot AND a PGA professional golfer. Interestingly enough, it was both of those fields that helped contribute to the formation of Folds of Honor, a non-profit organization founded by Rooney, that has donated tens of millions of dollars to the families of fallen and injured military and first responders. Lt. Col. Dan Rooney is the epitome of an American hero.  He's a motivational speaker, best-selling author and tv show host who was recognized as People Magazine’s Hero of the Year and ABC World News Person of the Year. If this interview doesn’t inspire you to want to be better, live better, and do more for others, I don’t know what will. Not only does this episode explore a unique life journey, it’s also a pep talk that challenges all of us to fly into the wind.
